Discovery of the Dahongshan ultra-large crystalline graphite deposit, Urad Zhongqi of Inner Mongolia, China

摘要：1.Objective China is rich in graphite mineral resources,mainly concentrated in Shandong Province,Heilongjiang Province and Inner Mongolia(Sun Let al.,2018).In recent years,large discoveries have also been made in Huangyangshan,Xinjiang(Ai Jet al.,2018).Graphite is widely used in metallurgy,petrochemical,mechanical,electronic,and nuclear industries,and national defense and other fields.With the increasing demand,it is listed as a national strategic resource.The Dahongshan mining area of Urad Zhongqi,Inner Mongolia,which is located in the eastern section of the Langshan-Jartaishan east-west metallogenic belt(Fig.1),was a potential area for lead-zinc mineralization.However,the potential of graphite mineralization in the area was not examined.
